PAUL Hollywood handshake season is fast approaching and Channel 4 is already teasing the new series of the baking show.
The Great British Bake Off bosses have confirmed the series' return date – and it's only a few days away.
Fans of the iconic program have been eagerly waiting as Love Island finally wrapped up.
But the wait will soon be over for viewers as a new Facebook post announced that The Great British Bake Off will be back on our screens in two weeks.
The post features a snap of the show's expert judges which include actor Matt Lucas, celebrity chef Paul Hollywood, South African restaurateur Dame Prue Leith and comedian Noel Fielding who are set to take back the helm.
"In knead of some good news? Here’s a little something", the caption reads.

"The Great British Bake Off is back on your screens on Tuesday 13th September at 8pm!"
The news follows the release of a 10-second teaser which first aired during the evening schedule of Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
The blink-and-you-miss-it clip showed a the famous Great British Bake Off tent in the distance as the show's music played in the background.
The words "coming soon" appeared on a blue and white gingham tablecloth while a squirrel scurried away.

Fans of the series perhaps speculated that the program would make a return on the box in mid-September due to the release of previous seasons.
As a late year show, The Great British Bake Off aired on September 21 in 2021, while another season was released around the same time in 2020.
In November, 2021, Bristol had its first British Bake Off winner as Italian-born engineer Giuseppe Dell'Anno was crowned champion.
Reflecting on his victory as well as his country's big Euro win, Giuseppe told Bristol Live: "I feel it’s been a great year for Italy. I truly can’t believe it or take it in, this has made me so incredibly happy to be a Britalian."
"Dell’Anno is my surname which translates in English to ‘of the year’ – and I feel this certainly has been my year."
