The Horror of Dolores Roach Official Trailer

The Horror of Dolores Roach has made its way to Amazon Prime Video and now subscribers are curious to know if there is going to be more to come.
Starring Queen of the South actress Justina Machado, the comedy-horror follows the titular character’s movements after a 16-year stint behind bars.
She returns to her old neighbourhood of Washington Heights to find it has been almost entirely gentrified, bar an empanada business, run by her old friend Luis (played by Alejandro Hernandez).
He allows Dolores to use his shop’s basement to open up a massage parlour but when his landlord starts demanding more from Luis and getting touchy-feely with her, she ends up killing him.
This is only the beginning of their nightmare as Luis, in a bid to get rid of the body effectively, cuts the body up and serves the “meat” in his empanadas – the first of many killings to come.

Will there be a season 2 of The Horror of Dolores Roach?
The Horror of Dolores Roach came out in full on Friday, July 7, on Amazon Prime Video.
As of yet, there has been no official word on whether or not a second season is on the horizon.
While speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, actress Machado made it clear that it all depends on whether there is a demand for more.
“I mean there’s a second season if people love it and people tune in,” she explained.
“That’s the way it goes, it’s all about that, that’s what it is nowadays.”

“People have to tune in, people have to watch it and make a lot of noise about it and then there’s a second season.
“There’s so much content, in order to get a second season these days, it really does take that.”
Machado then joked; “Watch it, watch the whole thing, it’s such an easy watch. It’s a great show, half-hour episodes, eight episodes, watch it over and over again. Keep getting the views up!”
There are already a few indications that there is a strong possibility for a series two to be made for Prime Video.
Firstly, the podcast, which was also a one-woman show off-Broadway, ran for two seasons.
So already, there is more ready-made content for the show’s creators to use if they wish.
Moreover, creator Aaron Mark has also stated that the story isn’t quite over but like Machado, emphasises the fact that viewers need to tune in if they want to see a second series.
Mark told Screenrant: “There’s much more story to tell. We like to say Dolores Roach is unkillable.
“She will pop up anywhere, she’ll make it work, and she’ll figure it out.
“There’s a lot more of her story to tell.
“So I implore people to watch the first season so that we’re able to keep telling the story.”
