The Masked Dancer panel were left "freaking out" on Saturday's first episode of the new series as Astronaut was the first person to be unveiled on the hit ITV series.
During the episode, Astronaut received the lowest votes and therefore had to unmask themselves, revealing their secret identity.
And it wasn't long until the panel – Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Peter Crouch – were left "freaking out" to discover that it was none other than Jesse Metcalfe.
Jesse, 43, is best known for his role as John Rowland on Desperate Housewives but he has also appeared on Smallville and starred in hit 2006 film John Tucker Must Die.
Talking about why he took part, the actor revealed: "I thought it would be fun because dance is something that really intimidates me so it's a fear that I wanted to face.
"This has been unbelievable, it's one of the most zany things I’ve ever done in my career but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself.'
The Masked Dancer continues on Saturdays at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
