The Platt family are in for a huge shock in Coronation Street soon as they realise one of their own is an evil and twisted serial killer.
In case you have been living under a rock, we are of course talking about Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce). Responsible for Rufus, Teddy and Leo’s deaths, Stephen is now desperately planning an escape from Weatherfield for a new life in Thailand.
As Super Soap Week kicks off, Carla (Alison King) manages to find the one-way tickets to Thailand in the office printer and shows them to DS Swain (Vicky Myers). She manages to convince Swain that Stephen is a flight risk, but then ignores her comments about not telling anyone by making her way over to see Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews).

While Carla warns Jenny that she could be running away to Thailand with a murderer, Stephen is back at the canal in the middle of a violent showdown with Tim (Joe Duttine).
It ends with Tim trapped in the back of his cab, which is being doused in petrol by Stephen, but is he going to become victim number four?
Elsewhere, the Platt family are completely stunned when Sarah (Tina O’Brien) breaks the news of Stephen defrauding Audrey (Sue Nicholls) and drugging Carla with LSD.
A furious Audrey then makes her way over to Stephen’s flat, but she finds him being attacked by an angry Peter (Chris Gascoyne).
After sending Peter on his way, Audrey accuses her son of stealing her house, but how will Stephen respond?
With time running out, will Stephen add to his death toll before he is completely destroyed?
