The Voice UK viewers were not too impressed minutes into the new series airing – and already have their complaints.
The hit music show returned to TV screens on Saturday night (November 4). Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, Will.I.am and Anne-Marie all returned to take a seat in the iconic spinning chairs.
Opening the show, the gang put on a jaw-dropping performance to Stairway to Heaven. But within minutes, fans rushed over to social media to all say the same thing.

Plenty of viewers pointed out how the winners and stars of the show are very rarely heard of again after the show. Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Time for The Voice.. the show on which the winner is usually forgotten about within a few weeks, and never seen again!.”
Another fumed: “What’s the point, you never hear from these ‘singers’ again.” A third quipped: “Love how they’re talking about management and success after the show knowing full well they’ll never see the light of day once this show’s over, even if they win.”
Although Anne Marie and Olly Murs are on this series, both stars have since been axed from the judging panel. This month, Anne Marie was the latest judge to get the boot.

The 32-year-old joined the show in January 2021 as a judge and mentor alongside Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs and will.i.am. But now, Anne-Marie has allegedly become the second celeb to face the chop after singer Olly's surprise exit from the show.
According to recent reports, it is believed that ITV are hoping to replace Anne-Marie with a musician who has a large teenage following. TV Insiders also claim that ITV bosses are working on revamping the show with someone who is hot right now with younger audiences.
A source told The Sun: "Anne-Marie has loved being part of the show but producers want to give the series a refresh. ITV wants to ensure that the show pulls in teens, so they are always looking at who is hot in the music world."
Long-term judges will.i.am and Tom are still expected to return for the next series alongside two brand-new mentors. Tom and will.i.am were both judges in the first UK series when it landed on screens in 2012.
