THE Watcher viewers were left furious after the shows finale – slamming it as "utterly horrible".
The thriller focuses on married couple Dean (Bobby Cannavale) and Nora Brannock (Naomi Watts) who, after moving into their dream home, receive threatening letters from a petrifying stalker known as The Watcher.
Based on inspiration from a true story, the drama has been created by Glee’s Ryan Murphy, and stars Jennifer Coolidge as a real estate agent.
The true story follows scar letters sent to a couple after they bought a house for $1.4million (£1.2million) in 2014.
After receiving mysterious letters from an unknown sender, the family were forced to put the house up for sale again in 2017.
The new owner opens a letter from the stalker, who's identity still isn't revealed.

What happened to the house in The Watcher?
In the gripping seven-part series, Dean and Nora try to solve the mystery but they later discover that the private detective they had hired is actually The Watcher.
Later, it's revealed that the private detective – who had claimed she just wanted the house removed so she could buy it – lied and wanted to give the family some closure before she died from a terminal illness.
So, just like in real life, the mystery remains, and The Watcher is still unknown.
At the end of the series, Dean and Nora end up leaving the house, too, and this didn't sit well with the viewers.

Some even branded it "the worst ending" they've ever seen.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their frustrations.
With one viewer writing: "The ending of the watcher might be hands down the worst ending to any piece of cinema I’ve ever had to see. All the directions they could’ve went and THAT is how they end it? Utterly horrible."
Another wrote: "If you're going to start watching The Watcher on Netflix, don't. Officially the worst ending I've ever seen."
A third echoed: "I am so disappointed by the ending of The Watcher on Netflix. The series was so good at the start. "
A fourth penned: "I thought it started out really well with lots of promise, but I just got more and more frustrated with it as it went on. Just felt like a waste!"
