ITV bosses have reportedly identified a husband and wife duo as the next Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Flagship show This Morning is currently on the hunt for a new presenter after Holly quit the show. It came after Phil stepped back from the role back in May after an affair with an employee was revealed.
Holly then decided to quit after 14 years on the show. She said: “I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.
“To everyone who had ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together.”
It seems network bosses could now turn to Rochelle and Marvin Humes as future hosts, reports The Daily Star.

It is now thought The Saturdays singer, who presents The Hit List with her husband Marvin, could step into the role. Speaking to Closer, the source alleged that this is something the pair have “always wanted to do.”
They said: “Rochelle has made it clear with producers that she won’t be a substitute forever, insisting she and Marvin have what it takes to revive the show and get it back to what it was in the golden days.”
The insider is reported to have said Rochelle is confident “she and Marvin have the edge” on other presenting candidates. They added: “Rochelle knows they’re up against some amazing talent but believes she and Marvin have the edge.
“Telling execs how they not only have their own fanbases from their pop star days, but have already proven to be popular with viewers. Rochelle has been quietly gathering support behind the scenes.”

Rochelle is already a key figure on This Morning and has regularly stepped in to present over the festive period. The insider says she is hopeful a deal can be struck soon.
The former singer has recently opened up about feeling “lost” after S Club Juniors came to an end. On Grace Beverley’s podcast, Working Hard, Hardly Working, she shared the lengths she went to to get her career back on track.
She said: “When S Club Juniors finished it was like, ‘What am I going to do now?’ because you hear about these child stars, performers who have led a really weird life. So I would be handling leaflets outside of Tesco and feeling really embarrassed, because it wasn’t glamorous.
“Now I’m being that person who’s handling out leaflets and no-one wants to take one. And we were earning good money; we were helping out parents and then it all ended and so does the money.”
