This Morning: Spin To Win prize bag gets stuck
Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard and 1990s television star Cat Deeley are set to be the new faces of This Morning, it has been claimed.
According to reports, the duo has been lined up by ITV bosses to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield following their shock exits earlier this year.
The decision is allegedly “all about chemistry” and Cat has proved popular with ITV viewers after appearing on This Morning in recent weeks.
“Cat really impressed when she came in, and Ben is a consummate professional and hugely popular with the housewife demographic,” a source told The Sun.
“He’s an extremely safe pair of hands, has real gravitas, and doesn’t have a whiff of scandal around him — he’s purer than pure.”
They claimed: “Cat is the number one target to replace Holly, but negotiations are ongoing. Lots of people were considered, but ultimately it’s all about chemistry.

According to the publication, they are set to be paid £550,00 each, which is £150,000 less then Phillip and Holly.
The source added: “Everyone is very excited, and the sense is that Ben and Cat will be a real boost to morale on the ground.”
Express.co.uk has contacted ITV for comment on the claims.
Phillip stepped down from his commitments at ITV in May after admitting to having an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a much younger male colleague.

Holly returned to the ITV programme, which she had hosted for more than a decade, without Phillip before she quit earlier this winter.
Since their exits, ITV bosses have been using a range of presenters such as Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark and Rochelle Humes.
Speculation has been mounting for weeks about which hosts will replace Holly and Phillip on a more permanent basis.
