This Morning viewers were left unimpressed with a particular segment during presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary’s return to hosting duties on Monday.
The pair were back for a fresh week covering serious and light-hearted segments throughout the show including the bed bug panic, the Israel-Hamas war and learning how to make April Jackson’s Caribbean-style shepherd’s pie.
Towards the end of the show, however, some viewers were left complaining about the overuse of the word “like” and apparently fake laughing.
Complaints grew as the presenters chatted to seven hopefuls who are competing for a role in the Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream musical on ITV.
During the segment, one viewer raged: “Can everyone stop saying b****y LIKE!!!! #thismorning like.”

A second commented: “Like like like like like can’t anyone speak without every other word being b****y like… like #thismorning.”
“How many times do they say ‘like’ ffs. #ThisMorning,” a third added.
Of their laughs, fourth typed: “Why are they all fake laughing really loudly? What’s wrong with them? #ThisMorning.”
Another penned: “Why are they all laughing loudly at nothing?? Such fake positivity – as per usual on #thismorning.”

A sixth added: “How loud can you laugh? It doesn’t get you noticed for the right reason – someone tell these wannabes #ThisMorning.”
Additionally, another viewer said he found the “Mamma Mia shows cringe” and asked if anyone else felt the same.
Earlier on in the show, viewers were left gushing over trained dogs in the studio who could sniff out bed bugs.
Amid growing panic across France and the UK, homeowners and hotels are said to be calling in the specially-trained dogs to help locate the pests.
As the experts discussed their dogs’ expertise, one fan joked he wasn’t even listening to the latest news about bugs, as he was focused on the “awesome” dogs instead.

“That dog with Dermot is going nowhere now#thismorning,” a viewer joked.
“Dermot and the dog #ThisMorning,” another typed.
