This Morning: Orchestra opens the show with ‘Tainted Love’
This Morning viewers issued the same complaint after Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark brought out a Christmas tree at the beginning of the show.
Yesterday, the This Morning studio was turned into a Halloween wonderland as a gothic orchestra opened the show.
Introducing today’s show, Josie explained: “It is all looking a bit bare here this morning because we have now packed away all the pumpkins and Halloween costumes for another year.”
Rylan continued: “But, now that Halloween is out of the way it only means one thing, that’s right it is time, bring on the tree!
“It is the first of November which means the countdown to Christmas is officially on, I am ready for this.”

Josie added: “This morning, the Queen of Christmas herself Mariah Carey made her first festive appearance of the season.”
A clip of her annual Christmas announcement played before Josie noted: “If there is one person who knows how to do it, it is Mariah Carey.”
Whilst Josie and Rylan were excited about Christmas, viewers of the show were left annoyed with their Christmas content.

Iain Morris expressed: “Is this the time when they shove Xmas down your throat & by the time the big day comes you’re totally cheesed off with it all!!#Thismorning.” (sic)
