Andi Peters frustrated This Morning viewers on the latest episode of the show (18 August), as he showed his excitement towards the Spanish royal family, but could not help criticising the queen’s outfit and interrupting his co-host.
Speaking on the upcoming football match between Spain and England’s Lionesses taking place at the women’s World Cup in Sydney, Australia next Sunday, Andi and his co-host, Josie Gibson were debating whether royal families would have made the lengthy travel across the world to watch the game, had it been the men’s World Cup.
The Bristol-born presenter who won the eleventh series of the reality show Big Brother went on to share her prediction of the Lionesses beating Spain 2-1.

That’s when Andi expressed his enthusiasm for the Spanish royal family, as he wasn’t aware Spain even had a queen.
“I have to say, I’m quite excited to see the Queen of Spain,” the chirpy competition host said before revealing: “I didn't even know Spain had a queen.”
Josie nervously laughed at her co-presenter’s surprising announcement as she was trying to speak in turn.
“I bet she’s really glamorous,” Andi said of Queen Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano, as he interrupted Josie.
Josie attempted again to discuss royal families attending the women’s World Cup in Australia when Andi exclaimed: “there she is!” as This Morning producers displayed a picture of the Queen alongside her husband, King Felipe VI.
Queen Letizia was shown wearing a pink skirt with a matching blazer, combined with a gigantic hat.
“That is slightly lamp shady, I can't lie,” Andi said in a slight shock over the Queen’s lavish outfit.
He continued: “That looks slightly lamp shady, but she looks great.”
Josie went on to express how incredible it was that women’s football had become such a popular sport to watch.
However, This Morning viewers were quick to comment on Andi’s poor conversation manners, as a person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): “He’s a patronising git that Peters.”
“Let Josie speak please Andi,” another X user commented.
A separate viewer chimed in: “Poor Josie can’t get a word in! Sh*t up Peters.”
Andi seemed in better spirits than yesterday (17 August) , as he became frustrated with the audience of ITV's This Morning, telling viewers they "were not even clapping", despite Josie Gibson's best efforts to cheer them up.
