It's been all change on the This Morning sofa since Phillip Schofield's exit, and now viewers have been left wondering what has happened to Holly Willoughby when she was absent from today's show.
Holly has stuck around as the main host of the ITV daytime show after former co-star Phil left and has been joined by a succession of guest presenters over the last few weeks with no permanent replacement announced.
But fans of the show were guessing what had become of missing Holly on Monday when two of the guest hosts teamed up to lead the programme.
Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle, who have both co-hosted with Holly since Phil's exit, were the presenting duo to begin the week as they explained that Holly was away.
In their introduction to the show, Craig briefly mentioned: "Holly is off today, she'll be back tomorrow."
One viewer tweeted: "What's wrong with Holly this week? Shark attack? Hungover from ascot?"
But many of those watching thought they could take a good guess at where Holly was, as she was pictured enjoying a 12-hour bender at Glastonbury over the weekend.
One person tweeted: "Holly will be back tomorrow” Bless her, suffering from her Glastonbury Hangover."
Someone else commented: "You’d think Holly would have thought that it’s a really bad idea to just take a day off after all the recent controversy especially after being pictured at Glastonbury."
Another viewer made a dig at last year's queuegate controversy as they quipped: "Awww poor Holly having to recover from Glastonbury…… bet she didn’t have to queue for 12 hours either …….."
Holly was snapped at the festival over the weekend, which featured Elton John, Lewis Capaldi and Foo Fighters over three days of headline acts.
But her arrival in a helicopter did not go down well with everyone as one person tweeted: "Assuming #Holly is recovering from #Glastonbury I hope @thismorning #ThisMorning don’t do anymore lecturing environmental messages when their presenters use a helicopter to get to events!!"
Holly and Phil were known for enjoying a night out together in their co-hosting days, including turning up to present the show hungover the morning after partying at the National Television Awards.
Not every viewer was upset by Holly's replacement on Monday, though, as one person tweeted: "so glad josie is om this morning today. I always switch off now when Holly is on."
Someone else added: "'Holly will be back tomorrow.' It's OK… I didn't ask #thismorning. But why not just keep Josie and Craig all week?"
Another viewer wrote: "Who cares why Holly isn't in, we got Josie and Craig."
