TOWIE star James 'Diags' Bennewith has grown close to Love Island star Elma Pazar.
The pair, who are currently filming in the Dominican Republic, are getting on so well they have even made a pact to marry in the future.
The Sun told yesterday how Elma has joined the cast after appearing on the ITV dating show in 2019.
And she’s already mate with lots of the cast including Diags, who told us he’s ready to settle down.
He explained: “When you get to my age you want to think about finding someone proper.
“Be mates first. People say don't friend zone but you can turn it into something good.”

Hinting that he was hoping for more than friendship with Elma, Diags continued: “Elma is lovely. I love her
“I have known her a long time.
“I’m probably friend zoned but things can change when you’re in paradise. Pina coladas – palm trees – paradise…”
Joking about the pact they have made, he added: “Sometimes you’ve got to cover your bases. I can’t rely on Chloe.”

Diags previously dated Fran Parman on the show and admits he is now “finally over it”, but “it broke my heart into hundreds of pieces.”
He went on to reveal he was in another relationship which was off camera but it came to an end last year.
But he’s fed up of being a “third wheel”, saying: “As much as I love Dan he has Amber here
“I am the third wheel. I don’t mind being the third wheel. Sometimes it works well.
“But I would like more company.”
Speaking about Elma joining the show, a Towie source said: “Producers are really excited to throw Elma into the mix. She is a bundle of fun and relentlessly energetic.
“Elma is close friends with Amber Turner, and also Dan Edgar and Diags – who she has enjoyed some flirty nights with in the past.
“She is also good pals with Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows who have also joined the cast out in the Dominican to film the upcoming series.”
