Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) decided to bite the bullet and tell Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) how he feels about her – just days before her wedding to Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna) in Coronation Street.
Fiz attempted to ignore her feelings for Ty, telling him the trust between them was broken and therefore, she’ll be marrying Phill.
Fiz even made it through the wedding without putting a stop to things, but it was during the first dance that made her realise she needed to be honest.
In the Bistro kitchen, Fiz told Phill she’s made a terrible mistake and doesn’t love him.
As Fiz, Phill and Ty navigate their way around their relationships, Phill turns to Tyrone, of all people, for advice on how to win Fiz back.
Weird, right?
Later on, Fiz spots Phill outside Underworld with a boombox blaring her favourite love songs.

Phil then holds up cards containing the lyrics, but to the amusement of the factory girls, poor Phill gets the cards muddled!
Is this a harsh trick Ty will end up being responsible for?
He’ll take pleasure in watching Phill mess up the grand gesture, that’s for certain.
We’re certainly questioning why Phill would turn to Tyrone but for Jamie Kenna, he thinks his character sees Ty as a genuine friend now.
‘I think it’s bumpy and they’ve certainly had their moments, concrete being one of them, but I think there’s quite a lot of similarities and they’ve got quite a bit in common. The two of them in a different world would have been really good mates.
‘It’s a slow build but Phill thinks they’re becoming really good friends. And Phil definitely sees a world where very comfortably all three of them can exist with the girls as a centre point.’
