JAMES Bond fans will well remember the time that the Queen teamed up with the famous spy.
But did she ever star in an actual 007 film? Here we take a look.
Was the Queen really in a James Bond movie?
The Queen famously appeared alongside Daniel Craig in a spoof of a James Bond movie, but she never actually starred in one of the 007 films.
As part of the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics, Her Majesty filmed a Bond sketch.
It was recorded at Buckingham Palace and saw the Queen act alongside the 007 at the time, Daniel Craig.
In the short clip, she famously delivered the classic line: “Good evening, Mr Bond."

Royal aide Angela Kelly later revealed the previously unknown story behind the monarch’s appearance during the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
She told how Her Majesty was “very amused” by film director Danny Boyle’s idea — put to her in 2011 — and agreed immediately.
She added: “I asked then if she would like a speaking part. Without hesitation, Her Majesty replied: ‘Of course I must say something. After all, he is coming to rescue me.’
“I asked whether she would like to say: ‘Good evening, James,’ or ‘Good evening, Mr Bond,’ and she chose the latter, knowing the Bond films.”

One of the most iconic scenes of the Olympics ceremony was when viewers saw the "Queen jump out of helicopter".
But Her Majesty didn't actually perform the stunt herself, it was done by a professional.
However, it was so convincing, that to this day, people still wonder if she did.
How did James Bond actor Daniel Craig feel about the Queen?
Following Her Majesty's sad passing on September 8, 2022, Daniel Craig paid tribute to the "incomparable" Queen Elizabeth II.
In a heartwarming statement to the PA news agency, Daniel said he was "saddened" by the news Her Majesty had died.
The actor said: "I, like so many, was deeply saddened by the news today and my thoughts are with the royal family, those she loved and all those who loved her."
Daniel added: "She leaves an incomparable legacy and will be profoundly missed."
Which James Bond actors have been knighted by the Queen?
Both Roger Moore and Sean Connery, were given knighthoods by the Queen in 2003 and 2000, respectively.
Meanwhile, Daniel Craig was made a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George, better known as a CMG, in a ceremony held at Windsor Castle in 2022.
The honour, bestowed on him by the Princess Royal, is the same as that was held by Ian Fleming's famous superspy 007, portrayed by Craig for fifteen years from 2006's Casino Royale to 2021's No Time to Die.
Did the Queen appear in any other movies?
The Queen never appeared in any films during her life.
However, Her Majesty famously did a sketch with movie star bear Paddington in 2022 to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
Before the Party at the Palace kicked off, royal fans were treated to a clip of the pair sharing a cuppa.
Paddington hoped that Her Majesty was "having a lovely Jubilee" before she offered him some tea.
But instead of politely pouring himself a cup, the cheeky bear drank straight from the teapot spout – without sharing any with Her Majesty.
