Dancing on Ice has announced all 11 celebrities taking part in the next series of the show. The contestants will compete against each other each week to impress the judges and the public in the new year. But what do you think of the lineup? Vote in our poll.

This series will see more soap stars with EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer and Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher both taking to the rink.

Ms Palmer told ITV’s This Morning: “I wanted to challenge myself and get back to work, get out of my comfort zone. And I just thought, I’ll just go for it, it seems like a lot of fun.”

Also taking part are Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 1 winner The Vivienne.

Drag artist James Lee Williams said: “I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be competing in Dancing On Ice in 2023! This is honestly a dream come true and I can’t wait to start training on the ice.”

They will be joined by comedian Darren Harriott, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson and football veteran John Fashanu.

Mr Fashanu said: “I’m so excited to be a part of Dancing On Ice. I don’t think it’ll come as a surprise to people that I’m very competitive – I am definitely in it to win it.

“And this may be one of the scariest things I’ve ever signed up for but I couldn’t be more ready for the challenge.”

The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaren, Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton and the West End’s Steph Cunningham complete this year’s line-up.

Ms Stenson said: “I’m so excited that I get to learn how to dance… on ice! I’m terrified but can’t wait. I just want to make the most of this whole experience.”
