THE true personalities of our favourite Love Island stars could be revealed by simply taking a look at the shape of their gnashers.

According to cosmetic dentist and founder of Marylebone Smile Clinic, Dr Sahil Patel says round, square and oval in comparison to squoval, stiletto and ballerina-shaped teeth reveal surprisingly different character traits.

While many of the Love Islanders have had their teeth veneered or crowned in preparation for the show – some even travelling overseas – their smiles still reveal aspects of their personality.

From aggressiveness, disorganisation and intelligence, we take a look at what the stars' teeth say about them.

Ekin-Su: Strong-willed

Ekin has had 21 teeth crowned in Turkey, and has chosen the whitest colour on the spectrum, which is a ‘BL1’.

She has relatively soft shaped teeth, which balance the oval shape in her face, creating an impression of friendliness and strong will. 

Davide: Determined

It is unclear what dental treatment, if any, Davide has had, but his dominant front teeth and canines could suggest traits of masculinity, determination and strength. 

Gemma: Playful

At the young age of 19, it would be unusual for her to have veneers or crowns, however, it is clear is has had her teeth straightened, likely with braces and whitened.

She has a dominant front four teeth and shows her front teeth up to the gum line, which indicates her young age.

Other traits her teeth could suggest are calmness, playfulness and an outgoing personality. 

Luca: Shrewd

Luca has had upper and lower ceramic crowns in Turkey.

The shapes of his teeth fit into the square category, indicating efficiency, shrewdness and power. 

Adam: Generous

Adam’s teeth appear to be his own, with minimal cosmetic procedures. 

His natural teeth show a squoval form, that suits his facial form, which could show traits such as generosity, intellectuality and empathy.

Paige: Care-free but aggressive

Unlike many of the others in the House, Paige has had aligner treatment followed by composite bonding.

She has a round shaped teeth, in line with her facial form, suggesting a friendly and care free personality, balanced with some aggression associated with her pointy canines. 

Tasha: Nervous

Almost certainly sporting her natural teeth, Tasha shows mild wear on her lateral incisors, which could indicate a nervous, spontaneous and creative personality. 

Andrew: Positive

Also sporting his own teeth, Andrew shows smaller than average front teeth, which could indicate a playfulness and positivity which is balanced by the deepness of the darker colour. 

Dami: Quirky

What looks to be his natural teeth, Dami shows a brightness higher than most due to his darker skin colour, and this highlights his teeth’s uniformity.

His teeth shapes indicate a balanced, neutral personality with some quirkiness indicated by his canines and first premolars. 

Indiyah: Hyper

With dominant front teeth that are tipped forwards, Indiyah’steeth could show extroversion and an outgoing and high energy personality.

This is mitigated by rotated and small side teeth, or lateral incisors, which could indicate some instability and hyperactivity.

Danica: Disorganised

Danica has her natural teeth, potentially enhanced with composite bonding and whitening.

Her facial form sits in line with her tooth form (oval) which shows femininity and a youthfulness that is balanced with her mildly crowded and flared lower teeth, which could indicate some disorganisation. 

Jamie: Intelligent

Jamie has had little dental work, but shows a mostly straight set of square profile teeth.

His smile could show older age, intelligence, forcefulness but cooperation.
