GARETH Malone shot to fame as the singing genius behind BBC reality show The Choir.
But he is now taking on the biggest gig of his life at the King's coronation.
Who is Gareth Malone?
Gareth is a choirmaster who was born in London on November 9, 1975.
He studied drama at the University of East Anglia (UEA), during which he was in the university choir.
He then went on to do a postgraduate vocal studies course at the Royal Academy of Music and earned a distinction.
Gareth then ran the London Symphony Orchestra's youth and community choirs at LSO St Luke's until the end of 2009.

He has since taken part in several singing reality TV series.
Gareth was awarded an OBE in 2012 for his services to music.

Choirmaster Gareth is known for his shows forming choirs with people who don't have much singing experience.
The aim is to help them get through difficult times in their lives with the art of music and performance.

In 2007, Gareth was approached by a production company to front a series about singing in schools, which was called The Choir.
One of his most famous projects was working with military wives in 2011.
This led to a No1 hit in the UK singles charts with Wherever You Are.
Malone forayed into kids' TV presenting two seasons of The Big Performance on CBBC in 2011 and 2012.
He then moved on to workplace choirs in 2012 and 2013 with The Choir: Sing While You Work.
And Gareth fronted the American version of The Choir – It Takes A Choir – in 2013.
It Takes A Choir followed in 2014 before The Naked Choir with Gareth Malone in 2015.
And a second No1 hIt came in 2014 with the All Star Choir and the song Wake Me Up.
He took on the role of judge in BBC's Pitch Battle in 2017, which saw rival music groups compete against each other and was inspired by the 2012 film of the same name.
He's taken part in quiz shows Richard Osman's House Of Games and Celebrity Pointless as well as appearing on Songs Of Praise and Loose Women.
In 2022, he took part in Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.
And in August the same year he's putting his cooking skills to the test again, taking part in BBC's Celebrity MasterChef.
In 2023 he headed up the coronation choir.
Is Gareth Malone married?
Gareth is married to an English teacher Becky Malone.
The happy couple have a two children together.
A daughter called Esther, who was born in 2010 and a son, Gilbert, born in 2013.
