She was born July 18, 1988 in Rewa, India.
Mohena is the Princess of Rewa as she is a part of the royal family of Rewa.
Her father is Pushpraj Singh who is the current Maharaja of Rewa and former minister of Madhya Pradesh state in the Digvijaya Singh government.

She has a brother Divyaraj Singh who is legislator for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
She is the granddaughter of the late Indian politician and wildlife conservationist Martand Singh.
Martand was briefly the Crown Prince of Rewa until the privy purses and titles of Indian royals were abolished in 1971 by the government.
She is also the great-granddaughter of Maharaja Gulab Singh who was the last ruler of the princely state of Rewa during the British Raj in India.
