GOOGLEBOX fans usually watch their favourite armchair critics every Friday night – but this week the schedule will see a big change.
Channel 4 have announced that Gogglebox will not be broadcast on Friday, October 21 and instead will be back on our screens on Saturday night.
Why is Gogglebox on Saturday?
On Friday, October 14, Gogglebox confirmed at the end of their latest episode that the reality TV show will face a schedule shake up this week – and fans were left disappointed.
The fan-favourite show will be postponed for 24 hours and instead will air on Saturday, October 22, to make room for Friday Night Live.
The schedule change has been made to accommodate a one-off 90-minute special episode of Friday Night Live to celebrate 40 years of the flagship channel.
Ben Elton will be hosting a revival of the iconic comedy show that first aired back in the 1980s.

This change in schedule is only going to affect this week's broadcasting.
Googlebox should then return to its original Friday slot as of next week.
When is Gogglebox usually on?
Gogglebox usually airs every Friday evening – and has done since the show first hit our screens back in 2013.
The hit Channel 4 show has a weekly slot at 9pm.

Gogglebox fans can watch from series 7 to series 20 on the streaming platform.
