"Julian Sands in Harry Potter" began trending after a TikTok user posted a tribute video entitled RIP Julian Sands 1958-2023.
However, instead of using pics of the late actor, he used photos of David Thewlis, who played Professor Remus Lupin in Harry Potter.
The user also put the wizard film's famous theme song behind the video.
This left fans confused, thinking Julian Sands was in Harry Potter, when he wasn't.

What roles did Julian Sands play?
Born on January 4, 1958, Julian was a well known actor, who was mainly known for his film roles.
He was best known for starring alongside Helena Bonham Carter in 1985's A Room With A View, and also acted opposite Nicolas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas in 1995.
His other famous movie roles included Warlock, The Killing Fields, Arachnophobia, and Boxing Helen.
What happened to Julian Sands?
Julian went missing in January 2023, while hiking in the Baldy Bowl area of California’s San Gabriel peaks.
However, in June 2023, it was revealed that a body had been found in the mountains near where he vanished, and it was later confirmed to be him.
In July 2023, the probe into how he died came to an end, and the actor's cause of death was deemed "unexplained".
It was revealed the reason he passed is unlikely to be determined due to the condition of the actor's body.
Julian's disappearance sparked a massive search with helicopters and drones combing the area but only his snow-covered Volvo car was recovered near Mount Baldy at the time.
It was five months later that his body was finally found.
