Without Sin: Stella listens to voice note
Line of Duty star Vicky McClure starred as the main character Stella who was adamant to get to the bottom of her daughter, Maisy Tomlinson’s (Justine Emma Moore) death.
Whilst gang affiliate Charles Stone (played by Johnny Harris) was originally convicted of the murder, on Thursday night it was finally revealed he was framed.
During heartbreaking scenes, Cleo (Elise Ackerman) admitted that she was the one who killed Maisy, after she found out her boyfriend Teddy Stone (Kieran Burton) was cheating.
Stella broke down in tears and attempted to attack Cleo, but was stopped by husband Paul (Perry Fitzpatrick) before getting herself into more trouble.
However, fans were left disappointed and let down by the revelation and took to their Twitter accounts to express their annoyance with the final episode.
User @SeamusORiain173 simply stated: “#WithoutSin Very obvious.”
@KulganofCrydee fumed: “It’s boring, predictable & sadly even @Vicky_McClure can’t save it.”
@hanaoor commented: “#withoutsin is so boring. Even the one-woman criminal investigator is not making it more watchable.”
@JannieSumners penned: “Well then, that was predictable #WithoutSin.”

After Cleo’s confession, Charles was released from prison and met up with Stella to see how she was coping now she knew the whole truth.
He told her: “I just wanted to let you know, erm… I’m leaving. I just need to get away! I want to be in a better place Stella for Teddy when he gets out.
“It was my fault. Teddy never wanted my life. I did so many things wrong.”
Stella added: “I still have my bad days, but less than before,” before they both headed for a walk along the river in the park.
Without Sin is available to watch on ITVX.
