X Factor star Josh Cuthbert has been left needing an emergency CT scan and stitches after suffering a freak accident while playing football.

The Union J singer was rushed to hospital on Tuesday evening following the nasty accident.

He was left bloodied and battered after being accidentally kicked in the head.

Josh, 30, shared a photo of him waiting in the corridor in A&E as he lay on a stretcher.

The star had a bandage wrapped around his forehead and was dressed in his football kit.

The boyband singer told his followers: “Not the way I wanted to spend my evening. Got studded/kicked in the head playing footie.
