X Factors Ray Quinn leaves Loose Women star gobsmacked as he shows off new look

Loose Women host Brenda Edward’s was left stunned on the latest episode of the chat show as former X Factor star Ray Quinn showed off his new look.

The 34-year-old star was seen sported a man bun and snappy suit to promote his latest tour as the four ladies gushed over his unrecognisable appearance.

But it was Brenda who was unable to contain herself as she began to stroke the star’s bushy beard.

“Can I say how soft your beard is Ray?” said Brenda.

“You can, it’s moisturised, it’s conditioned,” replied Ray, seemingly thrilled with the attention.

Co-host Kayre stepped in the put the reigns on a doting Brenda, telling her: “No you can’t Brenda, it’s inappropriate.”

Fans may remember Ray finishing in second place behind Leona Lewis on the third series of The X Factor in 2006.

He later joined Hollyoaks as part of a far right extremist storyline where he played racist thug Jonny Baxter.

Ray quit the soap in 2019 after fans were left stunned when his character groomed Ste into hating muslims.

But swing singer Ray Quinn stunned fans when he revealed he quit his life of fame to become a labourer when the coronavirus pandemic hit in March 2020.

And he now looks unrecognisable having grown out his hair and inked his arms with tattoo sleeves.

He certainly looked the part for his performance of Frank Sinatra classic, Fly Me To The Moon, to close out the show.

Fans took to Twitter to gush over the performer, with one writing: "Beautiful voice Ray, lovely fella Xx #loosewomen."

A second put: "Well that was a surprise from Ray Quinn I didn't realized he could sing so well, enjoyed that! #LooseWomen."

A third added: "Great voice Ray! #loosewomen."

One then mused: "Ray Quinn is great such a gentleman loved seeing him win dancing on ice #LooseWomen."

Ray won ITV skating show Dancing On Ice in 2009 and the follow-up All Stars series five years later.

He released third album Undeniable in 2020.

When looking back at his X Factor days with the panel, Coleen gushed: “You looked so young, you looked about 12.”

To which Ray replied: “I haven’t seen those clips for a very long time, I was 17 on the show and turned 18 during the lives.”
