Bath stabbing: Boy, 15, charged with murder after Ben Moncrieff, 18, stabbed outside McDonald's | The Sun

A BOY has been charged with murder after an 18-year-old was stabbed outside a McDonald's in Bath.

Ben Moncrieff was attacked at the fast food restaurant in the city centre at around 3.30am on Saturday.


Sadly he couldn't be saved and was declared dead at the scene on Southgate Street.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and has now been charged.

Police said the South London teen was due to appear in Bristol Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Two others had been arrested but were released without charge.

Tributes have been paid to Ben on a GoFundMe page launched to raise funds for his family.

Alfie Rosser wrote: "Ben was a hard-working lad who had his life taken for no reason.

"The pain we’re all experiencing is something words can’t describe but I hope you're happy up there – seeing us all cherish the many memories we all made with you.

"Ben was not only one of the most loving people I had the pleasure to meet, he was also the funniest.
