A TEN-YEAR-OLD boy, who was one of the youngest ever slapped with an ASBO, was stabbed 27 times in a bid to become a drugs gang boss.
Alfie Hodgins, now 18 and from Wirral, Liverpool, was jailed on Wednesday after being caught with £2,000 of heroin and crack cocaine when he was attacked.
Hodgins began his criminal career eight years ago and was handed an ASBO in 2014 for "terrorising the community".
It banned him from "causing harassment, alarm or distress to members the public", reports the Liverpool Echo.
But it did not deter Alfie, who received his first criminal conviction three years later at the age of 13.
His rap sheet began to grow, with offences including theft, criminal damage, assault and breaching his ASBO.

In 2019 he was jailed for the first time for possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He served more time in February 2021 after he was caught with drugs, a phone and a "couple of weapons" in his cell.
This week Liverpool Crown Court heard he then became involved in selling class A drugs while out on licence after being put to work by a gang to pay off a debt.
But the lad instead stole the group's drugs and phone and started his own operation.

As a result he was attacked by four of the gang’s men with machetes in Ellesmere Port town centre.
Young Aflie was stabbed 27 times and was lying in a pool of his own blood when police arrived at the scene.
An air ambulance rushed him to hospital where he spent two weeks recovering from his injuries.
But he was soon arrested as at the time of the attack he was in possession of £1,220 of heroin and £1,100 of crack cocaine, as well as £1,208 and the gang’s phone.
He was this week jailed for two and a half years after admitting possession with intent to supply.
Defence counsel John Weate told the court: "From a very young age, probably in his infancy, he has been subjected to living in a violent and criminal environment and a complete mistrust has developed within him of adults and people who may on the face of it be looking to help him.
