CANDLELIGHT vigils have been planned for the 16-year-old girl stabbed to death in a park at the weekend.
Brianna Ghey was tragically found dead at Linear Park, Warrington, after a "targeted attack" on Saturday afternoon.
Police had received frantic calls that the schoolgirl was seriously injured and raced to the Culcheth grounds.
But horrifically Brianna, from the Birchwood area of Warrington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cops launched an investigation on Sunday, and quickly arrested a boy and girl, both 15, on suspicion of murder.
Since then tributes have been flowing for the transgender teen and now vigils have been organised across the country in her memory.

Brianna was beautiful, witty and hilarious. Brianna was strong, fearless and one of a kind.
In a heartbreaking statement, they said: "Brianna was a much-loved daughter, granddaughter, and baby sister.

"The loss of her young life has left a massive hole in our family, and we know that the teachers and her friends who were involved in her life will feel the same.
"We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this extremely difficult time. We would like to thank the police for their support, and witnesses for helping with the investigation.
"The continuation of respect for privacy is greatly appreciated."
Brianna's friends are also raising money to help her family pay for her farewell – which they say should be “pink and colourful to match her personality”.
