An actor touring the UK in a production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory says he and two other cast members were ‘kicked out’ of their Airbnb house yesterday.
Teddy Hinde stars as Mike Teavee in the show currently playing at Milton Keynes Theatre until March 5.
He and two fellow actors were staying at a house in Oldbrook near the city centre, but claim they were forced out yesterday – allegedly after asking the landlord to fix the fridge-freezer.

Mr Hinde tweeted the listing of the apartment in Milton Keynes where he was staying and claimed he was forced out along with two other cast members
Urging his followers to share, the 23-year-old stage actor tweeted: ‘This morning, myself and two other cast members were kicked out of this property in Milton Keynes.
‘We were shouted at, threatened, pushed and forced to leave with zero notice. All because we asked for the fridge freezer to be fixed.’
Airbnb swiftly responded: ‘Teddy, we are here to help. Can you please DM us the email address linked to your Airbnb account and the reservation code for this trip? Thank you.’

The touring production is based on the classic 1973 musical of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Gene Wilder, and sees actor Gareth Snook take up the iconic role of Willie Wonka.
It follows the story of nine-year-old Charlie, who wins a golden ticket to the weird and wonderful Wonka Chocolate Factory – a chance of a lifetime to feast on sweets.
But beyond the gates astonishment awaits, the five lucky winners discover not everything is as sweet as it seems.
