A HOTEL worker who was allegedly raped and strangled to death was forced to send a reassuring message to her boyfriend, police say.
Anastasia Patricia-Rubinska, 27, was found dead on Sunday on the Greek island of Kos after a week-long hunt.
Her remains were found wrapped in a plastic bag under a bush in a salt marsh close to the chief suspect's home.
Investigators say Anastasia, from Poland, sent a text to her boyfriend warning him she was in danger.
But another one followed minutes later saying she was fine – and cops fear she was either forced to send it or it was sent by her killer.
Anastasia was seen leaving a local cafe with a man from Bangladesh on June 12.
