A MAN has been charged with secretly filming tenants at his properties in a chilling voyeurism scandal.
Accused voyeur Rhett Riviere, 66, allegedly produced “thousands” of images of unsuspecting guests spanning multiple decades.
Shocking new information is now coming out about the South Carolina resident, who is currently out on a $10,000 bond.
Riviere surrendered to South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) agents last week, who have reportedly collected "substantial" and "overwhelming" evidence against the 66-year-old.
Warrants show that the alleged incidents occurred between April and June 2001, when he filmed the victims “for the purpose of arousing or gratifying … sexual desire.”
But Ryan Beasley, an attorney representing the accuser in that case, said evidence from law enforcement shows 21,000 videos dating back almost 20 years.

Riviere allegedly recorded people in places like the bedroom and bathrooms in rental units on his property.
Beasley said: "We don't know what he's been doing with these videos for the last 20 years.
"I mean, has he been sending them to the cloud? Does he share them with other people? Is it on the dark net?
"We have no idea and we're still trying to figure all that out, but think of all the victims that are out there over a 20-year period."
Riviere was also arrested last June for voyeurism in connection to a May 2019 incident, where he allegedly recorded a woman in the bedroom of an Airbnb he owned.

Appearing before a magistrate in Aiken County, South Carolina on Thursday, Aiken was granted bond after being charged with two counts of voyeurism.
One of the victims from the 2001 case – professional polo player Gabriel Crespo – addressed the court regarding the charges, and consented to having his name published, according to FitsNews.
Crespo said: "This man is dangerous. This man is a predator.
"He filmed me having sex with my wife. This man should not be part of our community.”
Attorney Debbie Barbier, representing several victims a civil case against Riviere, said he should have been handed a significant bond given the substantial extent of his alleged voyeuristic activities over the years.
“We believe there are many, many victims in this case,” Barbier said during the bond hearing.
“We believe he is a predator. There is no telling how many people he victimized.”
