A PUPPY has been FOUND after a clip showed the dog squealing in terror as a thief dressed as delivery driver snatched her.
Distressing CCTV footage revealed 16-month-old Dachshund, Twiglet, being brutally ripped from her Essex home.
However Twiglet's owners now claim she has been returned following a tip-off on Thursday evening.
Jamie Vindis, 47, wrote on Facebook: "Everyone… we have the most amazing news… Twig is home!!!
"She's a little subdued by the whole experience but a tip off this evening (via FB) from someone that had seen all of the publicity and awareness, has meant we were able to be reunited about 11pm.
"We can't thank everyone enough for all of the posts and reposts and noise that has meant that she most likely did become 'too hot to handle'.

Jamie's wife Jo, 43, told MailOnline that the Dachshund was "sold on for £700".
The person who purchased Twiglet "realised she was stolen" and contacted the family.
The intruder – who pulled up in an old-style blue Mercedes – was seen smashing the patio doors at the property at around 3pm on Wednesday, July 26.

In the seconds that followed, Twiglet was cornered by the burglar in the kitchen and the squealing pup desperately tried to escape.
Dressed in light wash jeans, yellow high-vis vest and cap, the fake delivery driver managed to grab the Dachshund and flee through the broken doors.
He roughly put one hand around the little pup's snout in an attempt not to get bitten, while his other hand held Twiglet's back legs together.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "Thanks to you the public, Twiglet has been reunited with her happy owner.
"Last night, Thursday 27 July, Twiglet's owner was contacted by a member of the public after seeing our appeal for the safe return of the Dachshund, who was stolen following a burglary in Saffron Walden on Wednesday, 26 July.
"Twiglet's owner is grateful to the public for all their support and sharing the appeal which was seen by a member of the public who was able to reunite Twiglet with its owner.
"They are truly grateful and happy that their dog is safely back with them, unharmed."
Enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.
