Desperate search for missing woman who disappeared after boarding ferry from Portsmouth to Jersey | The Sun

A DESPERATE search is on for a missing woman who disappeared after boarding a ferry from Portsmouth to Jersey.

Cops fear the passenger, named as Ebla Yusuf, may have fallen overboard.

Jersey police said she boarded the vessel on Saturday.

The last sighting of her on the ferry was then at around 2pm that same day while it was still in UK waters.

The Condor Clipper stopped on the Channel Island of Guernsey – but police say there was nothing to suggest she got off there before it arrived in Jersey.

A spokesperson for the force said: "There is nothing to indicate that Ebla disembarked in Guernsey or Jersey and after arrival in Jersey the crew conducted a full search of the boat and Ebla was not found.

"Any information could assist the on-going search enquiries."

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Jersey police on 612612 or Guernsey police on 01481 222222.
