FANS are heartbroken after Desus & Mero revealed their TV breakup due to "separate creative endeavors," on Twitter.
The Tweet shared on Monday said that co-stars, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero, "will be pursuing separate creative endeavors moving forward" and that their show "will not be returning to SHOWTIME."
They kept it light by saying "It's been a good run, fam."
Fans, however, did not take the split lightly.
One commenter said, "This is worse than when Cellino and Barnes broke up."
Another one said, "Can’t we have one good thing," followed by a crying face emoji.
"The Vibe has been Compromised…," another Twitter user said.
Many fans had no words, and used gifs of people crying or being shocked by bad news.
Desus & Mero is a WGA Award-winning and Critics' Choice-nominated late night series on SHOWTIME.
The show delves into hot topics, but the co-stars keep it light with a comedic undertone.
