- Shannon Canning was last seen leaving her Lancaster house on Friday morning
Police divers have joined a desperate search for a missing Lancashire woman, 24, who has not been seen since she left her home in the early hours of Friday morning.
Shannon Canning was last seen leaving her house in Keswick Court, Lancaster last week and failed to turn up for her job at Tipple Bar in the city centre the next day.
Police say the young woman’s disappearance is ‘out of character’ and that they are ‘increasingly concerned’ for her welfare.
The police search efforts have been focused on local areas of land and various properties in the vicinity of her disappearance.
Police have focused their efforts around the Ridge Estate and city centre areas and latterly in the water.
