DIVERS have joined an urgent search for a 24-year-old woman who mysteriously disappeared five days ago.
Shannon Canning disappeared in the early hours of Friday after leaving her home in Keswick Court, Lancaster.
Lancashire Police said she did not arrive for work at Tipple bar in the city and has not contacted family or friends.
Cops are also searching areas of land and various properties.
Officers confirmed they were focusing their search in particular around the Ridge Estate and city centre areas.
Police said the disappearance was out of character and they were becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

They said the investigation remains "a missing from home enquiry" and a dedicated search team are being helped by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service to cover more ground.
Lancashire Police added: "You will see an increased presence of police officers and specialist resources in Lancaster as we search for Shannon, in particular around the Ridge estate and city centre.
"A number of premises will be secured as we continue to piece together Shannon’s movements.
"Divers from the North West Underwater Search Unit will be searching in the area, while the Lancaster Area Search and Rescue team and the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are assisting with land and water searches.

"This is a missing from home enquiry currently but all lines of enquiry, including searches of specific addresses, speaking to members of the public, studying CCTV footage and digital enquiries, are being carried out.
