An ‘untouchable’ drug dealer who boasted of flash cars and guns while on the run in Pakistan is back on the loose after serving just three of his 12-year sentence in Britain.
Adnan Raja Khan, 36, was nowhere to be seen during the lunchtime roll call at HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire today.
Derbyshire Constabulary is now urgently appealing for help to track down Khan – a crime lord who was sentenced to more than a decade behind bars for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The force said: ‘Mr Khan is described as 5ft 8ins tall, and of slim build, with black hair, beard, and brown eyes. He has links to Leicester.’
But this is not the first time Khan has managed to go on the run. In December 2016, Khan fled the UK after his former girlfriend, Amy Schreder, from Leicestershire, was caught with one-and-a-half kilos of high purity cocaine along with crack cocaine, cutting agents and £46,000 in cash.
When police tried to stop Khan later that day due to his links to the drugs seizure, he took them on a wild chase, driving at up to 100 mph in the Fosse Park and Narborough Road area of the city, causing a family car to spin off the road – although the passengers were not seriously injured.

When Khan was initially arrested in 2016 he fled the country to Pakistan and taunted police, posing on flashy cars and brandishing guns
Despite this, and being found with cannabis, Khan was released on bail the next day where he fled to Pakistan and failed to attend court, in January 2017 – something the judge branded ‘remarkable’ at the time.
During his 15 months on the run, Khan brazenly posed in front of flash cars wearing expensive designer watches and brandishing a variety of guns.
The married father began posting taunting messages with photographs on Instagram – including: ‘They say my whole team is under investigation but you know what I say, the wise man always gets away.’
He also stated, alongside a gun-toting photo: ‘Who the **** says you can’t live it up in a Third World Country when you’re connected up to **** and you’re also a gangster yourself.’
Following Khan’s return to the UK in 2018, officers caught him in a flat in Syston, Leicestershire, with a high purity stash of 372g of heroin and 185g of cocaine
