A vicious attack on a young woman filmed on an Elizabeth Line train is being investigated as a racially aggravated assault, British Transport Police have confirmed.
The horrifying moment the woman screamed ‘help me’ as she was dragged around by two female thugs on the London tube line was shared online.
She screamed as she was punched in the face twice by one of the attackers, and hit by the other, before being dragged along the carriage by her hair and thrown to the floor on the TfL train near Paddington on Sunday evening.
Police probing the incident have now revealed the victim is 20 years old.
A BTP spokesperson also told MailOnline that, despite claims on social media, it is not an antisemitic incident, but is being investigated as a racially aggravated assault.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, with officers working to establish the circumstances.
