Ex-trans activist who rejected LGBTQ groups says movement is 'a CULT'

REVEALED: Woman, 36, attacked at NYC Pride for brandishing a ‘stop female erasure’ sign is a ‘deprogrammer’ who believes the transgender movement is a CULT for kids

  • Kay Yang, 36, works as a ‘deprogrammer’ to help parents and children who have been ‘indoctrinated’ by the ‘cult-like’ transgender agenda in the US
  • The former LGBTQ activist was hit and pushed at Pride NYC on Sunday

A former trans rights activist who rejected LGBTQ groups said the movement is like a cult for children – before she was attacked at NYC Pride for holding up a ‘stop female erasure’ sign.

Kay Yang, 36, works as a ‘deprogrammer’ to help parents and children who have been ‘indoctrinated’ by the ‘cult-like’ transgender agenda. Yang herself previously went by they/them and worked as a ‘trans educator’ in schools for years.

She posted a video of her being attacked at the New York City Pride parade on Twitter, with the caption: ‘My name is K. Yang, I’m a former trans rights activist & LGBT non-profit whistleblower.

‘I was just kicked, hit, pushed, mobbed by dozens of people in Washington Square Park. Males who identify as females called me ‘b***h’ & assaulted me.’

Yang was holding a sign that read ‘Defend Female Sex Based Rights’ when she had her placard ripped violently out of her hands as she was hit in the head with a cup of water on Sunday.

One person wrote: ‘You are courageous. We need more people like you to stop the woke madness!’ While another added: ‘You are incredibly brave and courageous!!

‘Thank you for standing up for the rights of women and girls! We need more women like you in this world.’

A third person said: ‘I am so saddened and sorry that they did this to you. I respect your courage to be present, place yourself in harms way and to take a stand against this heinous medical atrocity.’

Yang is the creator of StopFemaleErasure.com and the activist behind ‘The Deprogrammer.’

She used to go by the pronouns they/them, but she left LGBTQ activism behind when she realized the movement was leading to children accepting certain sexual ideas which ‘groomed’ them.

Kay Yang rejected LGBTQ groups and said the movement is like a cult for children

Yang told the Epoch Times that a trans man she knew molested a 16-year-old boy – but her friends did not seem ‘alarmed.’ She described the movement as ‘like a cult except parents don’t realize their child is being indoctrinated.’

It was after this that she was ‘brought back to reality’ and turned her back on campaigning for LGBTQ causes and became a deprogrammer in 2018.

Yang had previously worked at an LGBT non-profit funded by the New York State Department of Health.

She began her career as a trans activist in 2012, where she would visit local businesses and schools to offer to ‘educate’ employees and kids on gender ideology.

Yang admits her former job was ‘indoctrinating’ youth with ‘gender identity’ ideology in New York public schools.

Speaking about her role in 2012, Yang told NYPost: ‘I thought I was on the cutting edge of promoting rights for gay people.

‘But then I started looking deeper into where this was coming from and who was paying for it, and I started to get very disillusioned.

‘We were with children talking about sexuality and gender identity without the knowledge or consent of their parents.

‘It’s part of a global agenda to restructure society, re-structure our social norms and the economy.

‘They are undermining the sexually dimorphic nature of reality and breaking down the differences between the sexes to break down our identity. They are constructing identities for us and they want us to adopt them.’

Yang, who was attacked in NYC during the Pride parade, now says that the gender identity industry has ‘spread its tentacles into every facet of our society.’

She previously told Fox: ‘I think it is going to get worse. The gender identity industry has really spread its tentacles into every facet of our society, I think that’s clear.

‘This is a coordinated attack on our children and it’s being done and in the name of trans rights. It’s being perpetrated on the local level, the state level, and a federal level.’

Through her work now, Yang says that she ‘exposes the intersections of corporate-government-non-profit collusion driving the ‘transgender rights movement’; a smoke screen for a massive social engineering and propaganda war being used to facilitate female erasure in language and in law on a world-wide scale.’

The activist also said that the LGBTQ agenda is just the ‘colonization of the female body and female reproductive control.’

Yang said that she is trying to highlight how these organizations ‘normalized practices of child sexualization’ and also the ‘proliferation of bio pharmaceutical transhumanist technologies’ to ‘frame these agendas as foundational to the colonization of the female body and female reproductive control.’

Speaking about parents of children who have been privy to trans ideas from a young age, she previously told the NYPost: ‘A lot of these parents are completely bewildered.

‘A lot of them noticed a marked difference in their children’s behavior. Then all of a sudden ‘she’ identifies as ‘he.’

‘A lot of this is like a cult except parents don’t realize their child is being indoctrinated — not from an old-fashioned cult that takes you away somewhere but through schools and their devices.

‘This is happening to kids everywhere, even those with a robust family life.’

Yang’s own family escaped China during the Cultural Revolution led by Mao and his Red Guards – and she likened Mao’s actions to the indoctrination methods taking place in the US.

Parades in New York, Chicago, Seattle and San Francisco were among events that roughly 400 Pride organizations across the U.S. held this year, with many focused specifically on the rights of transgender people.

New York’s lively parade goers marched down Fifth Avenue to Greenwich Village, while waving rainbow flags to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall uprising, where a police raid on a gay bar triggered days of protests and launched the modern movement for LGBTQ+ rights.

Politicians were out in full force Sunday after the NYPD said it was beefing up security in anticipation of the event.

Spotted among drag queens and activists were figures like Mayor Eric Adams, Kathy Hochul, and Chuck Schumer – three of roughly 100,000 participants taking part in the parade’s main procession.

Always slated toward the end of June, the parade, as always, also commemorated the 1969 uprising by New York’s LGBTQ+ communities known as the Stonewall Rebellion – while preaching the continued importance of LGBTQ+ rights.
