THE exact date Brits can dust off the BBQ for the Bank Holiday heatwave has been revealed.
Temperatures are set to climb again – but expect some colder days similar to this week first.
As the summer bank holiday weekend draws closer, it's good news for those looking to make the most of the break.
From Monday next week, there's an uptick in temperatures and they continue to rise through the rest of the week.
Uncertainty remains around how high the mercury will climb but there are strong indications it will be hotter than the average temperature of most places.
Fine and dry weather is likely to stick around for the remainder of August.

Sun-seekers can expect light winds with plenty of warmth.
Nicola Maxey, spokesperson for the Met Office, told The Sun Online: "Temperatures are not going to be as hot as we saw in July or earlier this month, but it looks like we're going to have a nice, settled warm spell for the end of the summer."
Today, early rain is expected across southeast to clear with much of England and Wales able to anticipate some sunny spells later in the day.
The day will be mainly fine, though there will be some showers tracking across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Nicola Maxey, spokesperson for the Met Office, told The Sun Online there's some chance of the odd thunderstorm there but it's a slight risk.
She said: "Nothing compared to what we've seen over the last couple of days."
Heavy showers are expected to drench the northwest on Saturday – while the south is going to stay mostly dry with the odd light shower around.
Temperatures willlinger around the average for this time of year.
On Sunday, it will be mostly dry but there's some heavy rain possible later on in the west side of the country.
