Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom asks ‘Can we all just ask ourselves who started this?’ as she backs Palestinian cause and slams Israel after bloody Hamas attacks – while also plugging her ‘favourite’ Dubai beauty salon
Faryal Makhdoom today appeared to point the finger of blame at Israel after Hamas terrorists murdered 1,300-plus Jews in a rallying call for influencers to side with Palestine.
Amir Khan’s wife shared a number of pro-Palestine posts on Instagram, declaring: ‘Can we all just ask ourselves who started all this???’.
She suggested that Israeli oppression of Palestinian people had been going on ‘for years and years and years’, adding: ‘Apparently All Lives Matter except those in Gaza’.
Faryal also slammed fellow influencers for not having ‘enough balls’ to speak out for Palestine in a series of Instagram stories that also included a plug for her ‘favourite’ beauty salon in Dubai.
She said: ‘If you’re afraid of showing support to Palestine because you don’t want to lose friends, followers or opportunities, then you’re part of the problem’.
One critic replied on Instagram: ‘Fight for what is right? By coming in and killing and murdering thousands of people at a music festival and then going on to kill innocent children? What if it was one of your children would you still feel the same? Shame on you your an absolute disgrace of a person’. But there were also many followers who praised her stance.

Yesterday her husband claimed people are ‘scared’ to come out in support of Palestine amid an ongoing war with Israel.
Khan took to social media platform X to say, in a lengthy post, that ‘Palestinian lives matter’ and that he has ‘never been scared to speak’ his mind.
‘My entire career, my aim was to become a world champion and use my fame and influence to make a positive change in the world,’ his post began.
‘I’ve never been scared to speak my mind and stand up for the down trodden. Recently when Ukraine was attacked by Russia, I personally flew to Poland to support the Ukrainian refugees who had been displaced by the effects of war.
‘So many people spoke up about these atrocities but as the world watches what is unfolding in Palestine, I see so many of my peers, friends and colleagues who are remaining silent. Why?
Amir Khan has become the latest sportsperson to comment on the Israel-Palestine conflict
In a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), Khan spoke his mind while over in the UAE
‘It’s become apparent that people are scared to show their support for Palestine and what’s worse is that it’s my own people who are talking down to me for supporting the innocent lives being lost.’
He added: ‘Palestinian lives matter. The world will remember who spoke up and who didn’t. And God will remember who stayed silent while innocent Muslims blood was spilled.
‘If any one kills a person – it would be as if he killed the whole of humanity: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the whole of humanity.’ *Quran 5:32*’
Khan is the latest prominent sports star to have shown support for Palestinians in the wake of the roiling conflict in the region following the attacks by terror group Hamas in Israel on Saturday.
Hamas terrorists launched rocket strikes on Israel and invaded parts of the country on Saturday, killing civilians and kidnapping others with swift retaliation later following.
Israel’s army has hammered Hamas with thousands of strikes ahead of what is widely expected to be a ground invasion of the crowded territory, after Hamas gunmen killed 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians, and took about 150 hostages.
In Israel, the death toll from Saturday’s assault rose to 1,200 – making it the deadliest attack in the country’s 75-year history, while Gaza officials reported more than 900 people killed as Israel pounded the territory with air strikes.

Faryal spoke out after apparent turmoil in her personal life after her boxer husband was accused of sexting a model.
The couple began living separately over the incident – but appear to be back together.
Amir Khan recently praised his ‘forgiving’ wife after he was publicly embroiled in several cheating scandals.
Most recently, the boxer, 36, and his wife, 31, hit a rocky patch in their relationship last month when a former BBC presenter accused the sportsman of making sexual advances towards her after they appeared at an event together.
The pair were also said to have separated and they lived apart over the summer after he reportedly asked a bridal model to send him raunchy pictures.
Speaking about his wife of 10 years – with whom he shares children Lamaisah, nine, Alayna, five and three-year-old Muhammad – Amir said: ‘Ah she’s brilliant, yeah, she’s good… Well, she is the big boss.’
He added on the They Don’t Teach This At School with Myleene Klass podcast: ‘I always get told off because I do silly things and I got caught doing silly things and obviously I’m human at the end of it.’
Amir continued: ‘She’s very forgiving, but I think you know if you keep on pushing someone it’s going to get too much, she’s gonna say you know what, get away from me.
‘I can see that she loves me to bits and she’s really caring and stuff, because honestly speaking there’s a lot of stuff that she does behind the scenes that people don’t see.
‘Like for example, you know, she set my training camp up, she set the contracts, the lawyers she deals with, the accountants she deals with, she deals with all the bills that we have in the UK and all that.
‘We have this payment to make, this payment to make. She does everything. I don’t have no house headache, she takes care of all that, like all the admin work, because I can’t do that.
‘But it’s good that she’s taken the pressure away from me on that sense… And you know, sometimes you need someone like a good backbone, and there’s someone there for you. Someone to take that pressure away from you.’
