Hugh Grant has been condemned by global media for his ‘painfully awkward’ red carpet interview with Ashley Graham at the Oscars last night.

Grant has been lambasted by media at home and abroad for shutting down the enthusiastic reporter and even rolling his eyes during the ‘excruciating’ interview about his short cameo on the Glass Onion film.
At the start of the interview, Ms Graham asked him: ‘What was it like to be in Glass Onion? How fun is it to shoot something like that?’
But she was met with an awkward response: ‘Well I’m barely in it, I was in it for about three seconds,’ Grant replied.

‘It still must have been fun though, you had fun right?’ the 34-year-old said as she powered through the uncomfortable chat.
‘Erm… almost,’ the actor replied as he looked away.
Grinning and bearing the interview, the model asked: ‘What are you wearing?’ While Hugh offered an insightful: ‘My suit.’
In the fallout since the interview, Norwegian publication TV2 ran the headline, ‘What a piece of s**t’ below a picture of the Notting Hill actor in reference to the social media backlash he has endured.
Meanwhile, French outlet FranceDaily went with the headline: ‘Hugh Grant rolls his eyes after painfully awkward Oscars red carpet interview’.
