A MISSING teen who vanished in the Outback over a week ago shared a haunting TikTok video just days before she vanished.

Tea Wright-Finger, 19, disappeared in the "challenging" terrain of Richmond, Queensland, on October 16.

A close pal had dropped the 19-year-old off near where her blue Toyota Prado 4WD was parked – but neither have been seen since.

In a cruel twist of fate, less than two weeks before she went missing Tea posted a chilling video declaring her love of the rural outback she is presumed to have vanished in.

She captioned a selfie, "I don’t feel so good, I want to go home," before adding a series of snaps of her enjoying the outdoors explaining it was where she felt at "home".

The harsh irony of the clip has not gone unnoticed by her loved ones, who flooded the comment section with pleas for help in finding her.

Australian authorities launched a huge search operation in hopes of locating Tea, using helicopters, off-road buggies and local experts to help navigate through the remote area.

The cattle station worker's distraught mother, Tracy Wright, has now revealed a crucial phone clue that has helped police hone in on Richmond.

She told how cops tracked her missing daughter's mobile phone and found it was briefly turned on last Tuesday morning.

Investigators were able to pinpoint the location to the Flinders River area, close to the Richmond township.

The extensive search for the 19-year-old is now focused on the realm of where her phone was last traced.

Teams have been trawling through thick areas of vegetation on the banks of the river, rural properties and along gruelling tracks.

The Mount Isa LifeFlight Rescue helicopter also scoured over 700kilometres from above on Sunday.

Inspector Damien Crosby said of the probe: "The terrain out at Richmond, particularly coming into summer, can be quite challenging.

"We have the assistance of SES, trained search and rescue coordinators, and some local Richmond Shire Council employees who have a really good local working knowledge of the terrain involved.

"Our priority continues to be to locate Tea safe and well and we will continue to search in that Richmond area until we're given information to the contrary."

Mum Tracy has been providing updates of Tea's disappearance to concerned locals via her Facebook account.

In a post on Tuesday, she wrote: "The community of Richmond have been absolutely wonderful.

"The search plane was also up looking yesterday and again today."

In an earlier message, she explained that her daughter had not accessed her bank account since the day she vanished.

Tracy said: "Richmond police just phoned – they got a ping off Téa's phone on Tuesday and it was still in the Richmond area.

"It was not until Wednesday morning that it started going straight to message bank. 

"Because of this, they have two helicopters up again today searching and driving all the roads again. They have had quite a bit of rain so the gravel roads are very wet.

"They have pinged her phone so if she turns it on or uses it, we can get an idea where she is."

Police have urged anyone who has seen Tea or a blue 2013 Toyota Prado four-wheel-drive with the registration 210-TLA to alert cops.

The 19-year-old is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall, medium build with blondish/light brown hair.

The teen also has connections to the Northern Territory, Bundaberg in Queensland and farms near Richmond in the state's far north-west.
