A house on an infamous sinkhole street in Stoke-On-Trent has sold for almost three times the guide price.
Potential homeowners were likely enticed by the property’s low £50,000 price tag.
But an auction on Monday saw the house in Boatman Drive, Stoke-On-Trent, sell for £143,000.
The four-bedroom, detached house has a collapsed driveway.

The family moving into the home won’t be able to park on the drive yet with the ground almost totally caved in at the side of the property.
Home hunters had to sign a health and safety waiver to view the family home – but that didn’t stop it selling for nearly £100,000 over estimations.
