Confronting CCTV has captured a teen’s final terrifying moments of being chased down a street before he was allegedly stabbed to death in broad daylight.
Pasawm Lyhym, 16, couldn’t be revived after he was allegedly knifed at a bus stop in Sunshine in Melbourne’s west on Thursday afternoon in front of shocked bystanders heading home from school and work.
As investigations into his death continue, new CCTV of teens appearing to be embroiled in an altercation prior to the incident has emerged.
A terrified Pasawm is seen running for his life from the scene with two other teens allegedly wielding knives chasing him.
One of the boys chasing him was still in school uniform, carrying a backpack.
It comes as new details about Pasawm emerge as a flood of tributes for the aspiring tradesman continues.

The youngest of four children, Pasawm’s family arrived in Australia as refugees from Myanmar.
The family is actively involved in Melbourne’s Chin community.
‘He was a lovely boy, sometimes funny, very friendly,’ community representative Robert Sang told Nine News.
‘This is the first time the Chin community has gone through a tragic incident like this.’
Pasawm attended Staughton College and had dreams of becoming a carpenter.
‘The Staughton College community is shocked at the senseless death of one of our students yesterday at Sunshine,’ principal David Lord said.
‘We are wrapping our arms around the family and friends of that student and ensuring that students and staff have all the support they need.’

A 17-year-old male and a man, 18, have been questioned by police in relation to Pasawm’s death and released, pending further investigation.
No charges have been laid.
Victoria Police urge a third teen believed to be involved in the altercation to come forward.
Police are on alert amid fears Pasawm’s death could spark retaliatory attacks in Melbourne’s west.
Community leaders who work with at-risk youths have expressed concerns about the rising spike of boys as young as 11 armed with knives.
‘It’s like carrying mobile phones to them. They’re carrying them (knives) because they’re scared. They think they’re going to get jumped,’ Les Twentyman said.

He had called for the return for a knife amnesty, which he help coordinate with police in Melbourne’s west two decades ago.
‘We got 52 weapons back within two hours,’ Mr Twentyman recalled.
‘But it didn’t go any further.’
Several commuters witnessed the alleged attack, including Pasawm’s cousin.
‘I screamed and said that’s him, that’s him [her cousin],’ she told the Herald Sun.
‘I tried to run and get help. I didn’t want to look. It was all so fast.’
Pasawm’s older brother Mawn added: ‘He was funny, really nice, a welcoming and kind person,’ he said.
Emergency services were called to Station Place in Melbourne’s west at about 3:45pm on Thursday and are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident
