A YOUNG entrepreneur made £55,000 in just six weeks – after he came up with a simple idea on a boozy night out with friends.
Bailey Page, from Queensland, Australia, has revealed how he made a fortune following his simple but clever invention.
The 22-year-old is the inventor, founder and director of Zip Zap Chargers – Australia's first cable-less phone charger.
He came up with the idea while walking home with friends after a night out on the Sunshine Coast.
As he was ordering his Uber ride home, his phone battery died and he had no choice but to walk to his house in the middle of the night.
Bailey scoured the internet the next morning on the hunt for a portable wireless phone charger, but when he couldn't find one, he decided to invent his own.

He was only 20-years-old at the time, and used all his savings of around £22,000 to begin his life-changing project.
Bailey worked alongside an manufacturer from e-commerce website Alibaba and finally completed the product nine months later.
The Zip Zap Charger is compatible with iPhones, Airpods and Ipads and uses a unique bracket which securely holds the charger to the device.
Users have to wait around two hours to recharge the portable device, using a cable that comes with the product.

Bailey was hit by a flood of interest when he released his product in 2021, and sold all 200 of his first batch of chargers in just two weeks.
He then went on to sell a further 1,500 devices across the country after being invited to promote his latest invention on an Australian morning show Sunrise.
Mr Page told Courier Mail that the response from that coverage was “insane”.
In under two months, the young Aussie entrepreneur made over £55,000 and hit his target of selling 2,000 in the year.
Bailey worked on growing his business while studying a Property Economics and Urban Development Construction degree at Queensland University of Technology.
He said: "My third year essentially, I just had to focus on getting uni complete while I did my studies.
"It was just a lot of late nights and weekend work to really cover up on what I couldn't do through the week when I was at uni".
The 22-year-old explained how there is also a "negative stigma" around starting up a business but has advised budding entrepreneurs to just give it a go.
“I found that a lot of people, especially business associates I work with, encouraged me [and have said] at my age, it‘s fantastic," he said.
"I always encourage young people just to have a go. You have to put a plan on paper, it's always good to get outside eyes looking in and giving you feedback".
Bailey has now sold around 6,500 chargers so far and is hoping to expand into the global market.
This follows the story of a woman who started a fashion company for women who hate wearing bras.
