He added: "My wife quite enjoys it sometimes when I learn something new.
"We don’t talk about work. She’s completely fine with it."
Alex doesn't bring clients back to their home and only travels to hotels or a customer's home.
But, the gigolo did admit he would consider giving up this line of work if they had children.
However, the reason being wasn't due to its sexual nature, but because he wanted to be at home to help with childcare.
And the male escort also offered up his number one piece of advice to help men in the bedroom.
The 41-year-old said the key to pleasing people was to have an open and honest conversation about what you both enjoy.
"Talk to them and see what they like. Have fun."
He also advised people to only partake in what they are comfortable with.
"Foreplay is there for a reason. Treat it as a warmup and remember to stretch properly after," he added.
"Sustainable sex requires sustainable health routines.'"
And Alex's family is also supportive of his job.
He encouraged people to open their minds about the sex work industry and pointed out most clients just want company.
"Everyone needs relief at some point," he said.
"For those who are sex-positive, having access to no strings attached sex shouldn't have to be a five-hour swiping session on a dating app.
"It's sex! It's fun.
"Occasionally [there's] someone who’s extra kinky. It’s another way to have fun.
"Some people like playing with food.
"They like the texture of it. They like to smear it all over the body."
Alex charges £200 an hour and £1,500 for an overnight stay, with a number of regulars he sees about once a fortnight.
The majority of his clients are aged between their thirties and fifties – but he does occasionally sleep with people in their twenties.
This year, he spent Valentine's Day with a 25-year-old woman, after receiving multiple job requests from different people.
He said: "January was a bit cold, I made around £1,200.
"Christmas was better. That was pushing around £3,000."
He explained when he was younger he was making up to £55,000 but it has since died down – especially during the pandemic.
"But overall it's been enough to pay off the bulk of my mortgage," he said.
"[It was] an undertaking I assure you, though my main career holds a more significant part of my finances."
However, the gigolo admitted: "The female escorts have it much harder than I do."
