A FATHER and son duo built a tiny home from a scrap plane cabin – and it's complete with solar power, a balcony and other incredible features.
The pair, known as The Tiny House Guys, spent six weeks transforming the fuselage of a Dash 8 turboprop plane into a mini-house.
Rick and Mitchell Keel fixed the cylindrical plane part to a trailer before adding solar panels and even a bathroom with a shower.
The cabin-home was later fit with a kitchenette and the DIY-savvy duo managed to fill the space with storage too.
The Tiny House Guys told Dwell: "We removed the seats to allow for more room, but managed to keep the main door and working emergency exit window, as well as the main shape.
A set of sliding doors takes up the back of the home which open onto a collapsible viewing deck that then expands the living space of the small cabin.

Rick and Mitchell's creation looks like a camper-van from the back while the front's curve still resembles a plane.
The planes original portholes have been kept in the tiny-home, giving inhabitants the chance to look out of the plane window – even though they're firmly stuck to the ground.
Attached to the rear sliding doors is a shiny metallic staircase that is able to drop down to meet the ground for easy access.
Standing on the highest point of the staircase even provides a balcony experience for inhabitants as they can overlook the outdoors from above ground level.

After the Dash 8 turboprop had flown its last route, the spare cabin part was used to train cabin crews.
The compact home boasts 130sq ft of interior space and the duo even retained the original overhead compartments above the seats to use as storage.
The Tiny Home Guys are now even selling the small home which can be snapped up for £29,000.
This comes after a woman told how she turned a Boeing 727 she bought for just £1,500 into her dream home.
Jo Ann spent six months renovating the 12-foot wide cabin and even added a hot tub and bath in what once was the cockpit.
A pair of savvy entrepreneurs also bought a bunch of old planes and converted them into tiny homes.
They have even managed to flog them off for £18,000 as alternative and sustainable living spaces that are so durable they can be hosed down like a car to be kept clean.
Meanwhile, a woman shared how she is converting an old Boeing 777 into a luxury home that even hides a secret room.
TikToker Carla Cary bought the decommissioned Etihad Airways plane and launched her project to turn it into her dream home.
