Israeli tanks roll into northern Gaza: IDF forces enter Palestinian strip overnight to carry out ‘targeted raids’ on ‘terrorist’ cells in preparation for ground war against Hamas

Israeli forces including tanks rolled into northern Gaza overnight to carry out targeted raids against ‘terrorist cells’ in preparation for its ground war against Hamas, the IDF said today. 

Israel’s Army Radio described the raid as larger than previously carried out during the Gaza war, now in its third week after Hamas murderers slaughtered around 1,500 civilians on October 7.

The IDF said that tanks and infantry struck numerous terrorist cells, infrastructure and anti-tank missile launch posts. They added that the soldiers have since exited the area and returned to Israeli territory.
