Man parades his wife’s severed HEAD around village in India after ‘decapitating her because he thought she had an affair’

This is the shocking moment a man parades his wife’s severed head around a village in India after decapitating her because ‘he thought she had an affair’.
Named locally as Nakapodi Majhi from Chandrasekharpur, the man allegedly chopped of the victim’s head with a sharp-edged weapon before going for a stroll with it in his hand.
Footage shows Mr Majhi walking around Odisha’s Dhenkanal district in India, taken on Friday 15 July.
The man was later arrested and is said to have ‘surrendered’ to police near the Beltigiri village.
Police also seized the body of the victim and started a probe into the incident.
The exact motive behind the murder is not yet known – but it is believed Mr Majhi suspected his wife had been unfaithful, according to police.
Mr Majhi looks unbothered by the heinous act of holding the head as onlookers stare in disbelief.

He was first seen walking down the street with the head held by the victim’s hair.
Footage then cuts to locals surrounding the man, who has grey hair and wore a yellow and grey polo shirt, while it looks like they discuss what to do with the situation.
After dropping the head on the floor while people in the small village look on, he then puts it into an empty rice bag, dragging it on to the concrete road.
