MARVEL actor Jonathan Majors beat up his British girlfriend to “cover up his infidelity”, a court heard.
Majors — in the Ant-Man: Quantumania film and Loki TV series — was said to have attacked Grace Jabbari after she grabbed his phone.
She did so in a taxi in New York after spotting a text message that read: “I wish I was kissing you”, a court was told.
Majors, 34, who dated dance instructor Grace for two years, allegedly squeezed her hand so hard her finger fractured.
The Creed III star then hit the 30-year-old across her head and shoved her back into the car when it stopped, it was claimed.
Prosecutor Michael Perez alleged Majors had been “cruel and manipulative” during their relationship.

Perez said: "The defendant told Grace Jabbari she needed to live up to the standards of Coretta Scott King [Martin Luther King’s wife] and Michelle Obama to conform to the plan and make sacrifices for him.”
Majors denies assault and aggravated harassment.
The case continues.
